Southeast Asian Dead Leaf Mantis (Deroplatys Lobata) i2-i4

This cool species of dead leaf mantis is from most Southeast parts of Asia. Like most dead leaf mantis species, these have a beautiful shield on their thorax or the upper part of their body right below the head. With this species, males have a shield that looks more like a small rhombus while the female’s shield looks like huge rhombus with teardrops fused on the end.
